of Billie Holiday
No Regrets is a 13-episode audio streaming series that explores Holiday's musical genius and legacy exploring her early life, the evolution of her singing style, how her haunting rendition of "Strange Fruit" played a vital role in the birth of the Civil Rights movement and other topics related to her astonishing career.
The focus throughout, is Holiday's singular musical artistry, her independent spirit, how her unique approach to her music became one of the strongest influences in the evolution of jazz, and how she continues to influence performers today. The series includes interviews with: Angela Davis, Karrin Allyson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Lara Downes, Dr. Farah Jasmine Griffin, Corky Hale, Alan Harris, Rene Marie, Professor Robert O'Meally, Dan Morgenstern, Fred Plotkin, Adam Clayton Powell III, Beth Roars, Dianne Reeves, Phil Schaap, Andromeda Turre and Casandra Wilson. The program also includes archived interviews collected by Linda Kuehl including Count Basie, Teddy Wilson, Silvia Syms, Jo Jones, Milt Gabler, John Hammond, Billie Taylor, Mal Waldron, Bobby Tucker and others. The program is narrated by veteran Jazz host, Rhonda Hamilton.

The concert is led by multifaceted American jazz pianist and composer Emmet Cohen, who created this YouTube live-streamed sensation during the pandemic, uniting a worldwide audience via tens of millions of internet views.
The star-studded lineup includes legendary drummer Herlin Riley, Grammy-nominated saxophonist Patrick Bartley, internationally acclaimed trumpeter Sean Jones, Grammy Award-winning vocalist Catherine Russell, Steinway piano artist and Dean of the Frost School of Music Shelly Berg, up-and-coming drummer Kyle Poole, and bassist Phil Norris.

Enzo Capua
Enzo Capua is an Italian writer and producer, living in New York since 1999. He is the Artistic Consultant and Representative in NYC for Umbria Jazz Festival, Italy, and he is also the correspondent for the Italian jazz magazine Musica Jazz since 2003. He has worked as a journalist, radio anchorman for RAI National Italian Radio, writer of several books about jazz history and his life in New York, jazz festivals and concerts producer, music consultant (Italian Cultural Institute of New York), playwright, screenwriter and director of numerous television shows, documentaries and films.
Ted Panken
Ted Panken is an American jazz journalist and former jazz history professor who has written extensively for DownBeat, Jazziz, and Jazz Times, as well as the New York Times, the New York Daily News, and various other publications. He has written more than 500 liner notes. From more than 20 years, Panken broadcasted jazz and creative music for stations like WHPK-FM in Chicago and WKCR in New York. He co-authored My Life in E-Flat: The Autobiography of Phil Woods, for which he earned the 2021 Robert Palmer-Helen Oakley Dance Award for Writing from the Jazz Journalists Association, which honored him with its Lifetime Achievement in Jazz Journalism Award in 2016. Since 2015, he's conducted several dozen public interviews in conjunction with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. Many of his extensive interviews and articles are included in the 220 posts on Panken's blog, Today Is The Question.
Matt Merewitz
Matt Merewitz is the founder and director of Fully Altered Media since 2007, and has become known as one of the most in-demand publicists and consultants in the world of creative music. Going up against him is Scott Gutterman. Gutterman writes a monthly music column for The Brooklyn Rail. He has also written about art and music for Artforum, GQ, The New Yorker, Vogue, and other publications. His most recent book is Sunlight on the River: Poems about Paintings, Paintings about Poems (Prestel). He is deputy director of Neue [pronounced Noya] Galerie New York.
Hank Shteamer
Hank Shteamer has written about music professionally for more than 20 years. He currently contributes to The New York Times, Pitchfork, and other outlets.
Jason Marshall
Jason Marshall is a baritone saxophonist who has performed with the late, great Roy Hargrove, and the Mingus Big Band, among others. Jason’s most recent record release is titled “New Beginnings.”
